Paul Boland
Received his Bachelor of Arts in Music Focusing on the Violin under the instruction of Dr. Tomislav Dimov. While at St. Vincent College Paul was the recipient of the acclaimed Burda Music Scholarship and upon graduating he received the Music Departmental Award for Academic Excellence. Paul also studied under Nancy Jan and Edmund Yukhim for early instruction within the musical arts. Before college and in Grade School he performed with the South Jersey Youth Orchestra and then in High School he played with the Philadelphia Sinfonia in the first Violin Section. He has also performed with many orchestral groups during his College and post college time. In Conjunction with Matt Klumpp he created the radio show Keystone Klassics on 1480 WCNS late last year as a method of bringing music performed by local musicians to the public's atttention.
Paul has played as a strolling violinist on several hundred occasions obtaining a great deal of experience through the Summer Theater dinner hour performing requests for the patrons.
Since then he has been playing at many weddings and other special engagements.
